Continuation of Information and Action Handouts regarding Prime Minister Stephen Harper's comment, "the major threat is still Islamacism"
DATE and PLACE: Sunday September 25, 2011
1PM - 4PM
Outside Public Gardens, Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada
HALIFAX - On Sunday, September 26th, 2011 Islam20questions.org will be continuing our city-wide information campaign. On Sunday we will be outside of the Halifax Public Gardens on South Park Street.
We will be continuing to hand out information sheets regarding our response to the Prime Minister's comments. These sheets will include an action item for all Canadian citizens.
Canadian Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, recently stated in an interview on national television that ""the major threat is still Islamicism." Halifax Muslims representing a shared religious belief with 1.8 billion members of the faith of Islam as well as a shared membership in the human family itself are deeply saddened at such a comment. We thank the members of the media who visited us at last weeks campaign.
Representatives from Islam20questions.org will be on site to answer any questions and for interviews with Halifax Media.
Media Representatives interested in obtaining an interview with a representative of Islam20questions.org are invited to contact:
